Hey everyone!
Federico has been turning in a page a day of finished inks and the book is looking great! But don't take my word for it, check these out!
Am I right?
Andrea already has these as well and is fast at work on colors!
As soon as I have another handful of pages I'll post more, but things continue to progress quite nicely! And depending on lettering and printing, we are currently on schedule for our March fulfillment, so stay tuned!
I also wanted to share a couple of friends' upcoming campaigns if you don't mind.
Kat's latest, THE DANCER is going live in March, but you can...

Speaking of Kat, she is also currently accepting submissions for a new anthology she is putting together focused on bisexual stories from bisexual creators that will be coming to Kickstarter in the near future. If that's you, check out the guidelines and information below:

METAL PRINTS & BOOKMARKS!

We just got these in the mail and they turned out great!
These are the metal prints we added as an Add-On during the campaign. If you didn't get one during, there will be an opportunity to snag one via the surveys!
And these are the metal bookmarks that all physical backers are getting as part of one of our Milestone bonuses!
FaerieMetal.com did an amazing job with both, and we can't wait for you to see them in person!
ART UPDATE
Federico is highly in demand and has been swamped, but he shared rough layouts with me yesterday and gave me permission to share:
This weekend he's set to send another update as progress rolls along!
We'll obviously keep you all posted, but I did want to let you know that things are progressing!

Here There Be Stickers!

Hey all!
The stickers have arrived and they turned out great:
The pictures don't do them justice, they are actually really vibrant. We used Rockin' Monkey for these, which we have used in the past. They are based here in San Antonio and they do wonderful work!
These are all about 3" x 2".
ART UPDATE
As for the book, Federico is working on layouts this week, so soon I should have some art to show you!
COMIC BOOK WEEKLY!
In the meantime, please check out our Kickstarter for Comic Book Weekly, my YouTube group channel's podcast. It's a short campaign with only 12 days left!
We launched this past Tuesday, and by yesterday (Friday - Day 4) we already reached 94% funding!
That means we're only $67 away from being fully funded!
We also got Project We Love within a few hours of launching!
There are some cool tiers where you can pick a comic or graphic novel for us to discuss on the show, or you can pick all the news topics we discuss, have yourself drawn as an avatar in our style, or even be on the show!
We also have a custom USB flash drive and a special art print by Cesar Gutierrez.
Not to mention you can get 9 digital indie comics for a dollar!
We're doing this to raise funds for hosting and to hire an editor so we can get the podcast out to more people.

Been a While!

Hey everyone!
I realized it had been almost a month since my last update! Sorry about that! The holidays and all the insanity of the new year kind of distracted me I guess.
UPDATES
Anyway, just to give you some insight on the progress of the book... Federico had some other commitments he needed to wrap up before resuming work on Ember, and those took a little longer than expected.
He will be resuming work within the next week or so, but he assures me we'll still hit our deadlines. So things, so far, are still on target for March fulfillment!
In the meantime, I've been working behind the scenes to get everything ordered and in place for the rest of the items. Metal prints and bookmarks, and stickers have been ordered. The coasters are on hand.
CROSSOVER PRINT
Will Allred will be fulfilling the crossover print for backers of this campaign, Crossover Division #1 and Like Father, Like Daughter #1-7. Those will be signed by all three of us and numbered. So if you backed all three, those prints will come with your Crossover Division packages!
MESSAGES
A few of you have messaged me privately about a few things and I'll be replying to them this week, so stay tuned for that!
And I'll once again be using BackerKit for surveys, so once the art gets rolling again and I see where things are at, I'll get those set up and sent out to you!
NEW LAUNCH!
In the meantime, NEXT WEEK, my friends at Comic Frontline and I will be launching a new campaign for a podcast! This is an audio version of our weekly LIVE YouTube show, Comic Book Weekly, where we discuss Top 5 comics of the week, news, big books, under the radar and more, and interact live with our audience each week.
We'll have all kinds of opportunities to be a part of the show during the campaign, so I hope you check it out!

Last Chance to Fix Payment!

Hey everyone,
Just a quick reminder that today marks one week since the campaign ended! Which means it's the last chance to fix your payment if your pledge did not go through!
Most of you fixed your payments, so THANK YOU! We really appreciate that. There are still a couple that have not, and you're running out of time before Kickstarter records your pledge as "dropped!" You don't want that to happen, right?
So please take care of that ASAP!
UPDATES
Federico is working hard on the rest of the issue. He had some other commitments to wrap up, but he's now back at it and soon I hope to share some art with all of you! So stay tuned for some Backer Only updates as we progress!
I've also started working on the BackerKit surveys. I'm hoping to get those out in mid January, sooner if I can manage it. I'll keep you posted.
