Good morning, all!
Last night we hit 50% funding! Halfway there now! Let's keep going after it! And thank you for helping us get this far!
The Video
So I wanted to have this done when we launched, but time ran out. This morning, I took some time to do my best to create a video mainly to show off the new official Ember song! So here it is:
The Song
And if you enjoyed it, but want a better, full volume sample of it, then here you go!
I hope you like this wonderful song by George O'Connor. If you do, head over to Charlie's Spot and let him know!
Tomorrow night, my good friend Tyler James' latest project on Kickstarter comes to an end! ComixTribe's WAILING BLADE V1: HEADTAKER by Rich Douek, Joe Mulvey, Chris Sotomayor and Taylor Esposito has completely rocked it so far, and they're SO close to goal. It's a really great story with tons of bloody action!
From the writer of ROAD OF BONES, WAILING BLADE is a brutal, bloody sci-fi adventure for fans of Mad Max & Masters of the Universe!
Thousands of years after mankind’s fall from the stars, the remnants of humanity live under the brutal thumb of tyrannical rulers who wield futuristic technology that to the masses, is indistinguishable from magic.
These petty warlords squabble over the dwindling resources of a dying earth, while they themselves bow down to the Tyrant of Minturn, who crushes all who oppose him with his legendary executioners – warriors who wield the deadliest weapons from mankind’s starfaring days.
The most feared of these executioners is the Head Taker, who wields the mighty and unstoppable Wailing Blade – a sword which screams louder than the victims it beheads.
A New Crossover Print!

Hello again!
Federico & Andrea have done it again with a gorgeous crossover piece we've announced today!
If you back THIS campaign, Like Father, Like Daughter #1-7 and Crossover Division #1, at any tier, you'll get this print either digitally or physically!
The 6" x 9" print features Casey from LFLD, Ember, and Hector & Hank from Crossover Division!
Here are links and more info about the other two campaigns:
A father with superpowers, leaves his wife and daughter to become “Invulnerable” - the world’s only superhero. Ten years later his daughter discovers that she has inherited the very superpowers that made her father leave their family.
In our newest installment, Invulnerable has been kidnapped by the KGB - led by none other than Casey’s mother, Jessica Ryder. Casey never wanted to be like her father, but will Invulnerable’s kidnapping cause Casey to embrace her super heroic roots?
It’s the penultimate issue of our first arc, and we promise nothing will be the same following our finale!
When stories come to life and threaten to fracture reality beyond repair, only an English professor and a research librarian have the knowledge and smarts to save us all. Join Hank Wallace and Hector Ramirez in Crossover Division #1 as they repel fictional realities that crossover into reality.
Be sure to let us know if you back all three so we can keep track!
Looking for other cool projects to support here on Kickstarter? We think this one's cool and you should check it out!

Wow!
What an incredible way to start the campaign! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
As I'm typing this, we are less than $100 away from 50% funding in about 37 hours, and we have over 100 backers, which is so cool!
I am SO excited about this issue and this new direction for The Last Ember, and so it really warms my heart that so many of you seem to be excited about it as well!
HELP THE FIRE CONTINUE TO GROW!
I know your time is valuable, and I want you to be involved with this campaign as much (or as little) as you'd like to be. So if you'd like to help us spread the word, it's real easy to do.
